We are parents who want the best fitting shoes for our children. We went down the traditional route of buying the type of fitted shoes we had as children ourselves. But as our children grew it was not always easy to find the time to have their feet measured and fitted regularly enough. We also found it hard to find fun and interesting shoes that fitted properly. So we started to look for different shoes.

As we looked around we realised

As we looked around we realised there is a much bigger variety of shoes for children in other countries. Some foreign brands already have a following in the UK. So, we could find more interesting shoes, but we often had to travel further to buy them. And that made the process even more time consuming. We began to research the market and consider what parents really needed and what we had to offer. We started to wonder if we could do it differently.

Our first step

Our first step was to join the Society of Shoe Fitters to undertake their professional shoe fitting qualification. This is the only course of its type in the UK and takes nearly a year to complete. Learning from the Society of Shoe Fitters has taught us a lot about the children's shoe industry and how to look after the health of children's feet. It has given us the knowledge and confidence to be able to help you get the best fitting shoes for your child.
