How Do I Join In?

Red Rocket Myrtle will place shoe recycling points in your nursery or school two weeks before we visit to measure and fit your child. There will be leaflets and posters in your nursery during this time giving you the dates we will be visiting.

We hope having the recycling points at your nursery or school for two weeks will give you time to bring all the shoes you no longer need. You can leave any type of shoes you want, both adults' and children's. We will remove the recycling points on the day we measure and fit your child.

What Happens to My Old Shoes?

Your shoes will be collected, sorted for suitability and sold at affordable prices to less developed countries around the world.

The scheme provides shoes for people for whom they may not always be easily available. Selling the shoes creates much needed employment by providing a business opportunity for local people to refurbish and then sell them within their own community.

Generated funds will help thousands of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in the UK.
